What a wonderful morning, eh? Bluebirds, harriers, looooons. Barn swallows, savannah sparrows, flickers and red-bellieds. The list goes on. Great looks at the pair of red-bellied woodpeckers excavating a nesthole, a flicker drumming on a metal pipe (ouch!), the constant din of red-winged blackbirds all around us, and the bright yellow sunshine of goldfinches in the treetops.
